Mackays of Cambridge Ltd would like to introduce you to Richard Mackay.
Richard (AKA Dickie), has been employed by Mackays as a work wear Model for the last 10 years. Be it rain or be it shine, Dickie can be found standing guard outside Mackays on East Road, wearing his stylish work wear.
Over the years Dickie has gathered quite a local following, anyone who has visited or passed the shop on East Road will know of Dickie Mackay.
When the Saharan dust blew up from Africa recently, Dickie was spotted wearing a face mask and offering discount off face masks to all who didn't want to breath the dusty air. Dickies boss finished up doing a radio interviews on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and nationally on BBC Radio 5 live.
Dickie is a huge sports fans and supports his local football club Cambridge United, he also had his photograph published in the Cambridge News for supporting Team GB's curling team at the Winter Olympics in Sochi. The BBC ran a fun campaign called "take your broom to work day" and as ever Dickie joined in enthusiastically.
